Separate paid service

Consultation & Brow Mapping.

The in-studio consultation is a separate, paid service — it is never included in any treatment package. You should book it for two clear reasons: you want to see how your brows will look before committing, through the full hair-by-hair simulation drawn on your skin; or you already have permanent makeup or microblading done elsewhere and we need to assess honestly whether we can work over it.

An in-person consultation is required if you already have previous permanent makeup or microblading, because residual pigment, distribution and skin condition can only be properly read in person — it is not guaranteed that we can work over existing work, and Sabrina will tell you straight.

On the day of the treatment a bespoke brow shape is drawn on your face as part of the session — but this is a clean outline of the final shape, not the hair-by-hair simulation, which only happens during a paid consultation.

In-Person Consultation

45-minute session in our Cascais studio. Full skin assessment, bespoke shape mapping and a full hair-by-hair simulation drawn on one brow. Reference photos sent afterwards so you can decide with confidence. Separate paid service, not deducted from the treatment price.

30€

Virtual Consultation

Free 15-minute video call — purely informational. We answer your questions about technique, healing and pricing. Skin cannot be properly assessed online and no simulation is drawn during this call.

Lifetime Brow Care

We don't disappear after your treatment.

Pigment evolves with your skin: it shifts in tone, fades and photo-degrades over time. There is no fixed calendar for a touch-up — only the right moment for your brows.

Whenever you have doubts about healing, notice a colour change, or have a trip or important event coming up — send us a photo in natural light. Sabrina reviews it personally and tells you whether it's time for a refresh, or whether you can comfortably wait. The assessment is always free. The touch-up itself, when needed, is charged according to the price list.

A Browboutique client is never alone in front of the mirror: we decide together.

Important: lifetime follow-up is reserved for clients whose brows were done with us. We can only follow the evolution of work performed in-studio by Sabrina — we don't assess work done by other artists remotely via photo.

Existing permanent makeup from another artist?

Hyperrealism needs skin to breathe.

The golden rule of hyperrealistic brows is contrast: the eye reads a brow as real only when it sees a tiny breath of skin between one hair and the next. That negative space — bare skin visible through the design — is what makes a hairstroke look like a hair, and not like a drawing.

When the skin is already saturated with old pigment — typical of powder brows, ombré or heavy shaded techniques — that breathing space is gone. New hairstrokes laid on top of a uniform background simply disappear: there is no contrast left for the eye to catch, and the result reads as a soft blur, not as hair.

For this reason, if you already have permanent makeup or microblading done elsewhere, the path is always the same:

  1. Send a clear photo of your brows in natural light, with no makeup, before booking any treatment. This is the first filter.
  2. An in-studio consultation is almost always required. In roughly 9 cases out of 10 a photo is not enough to decide: residual pigment, how it's distributed, micro-scarring or trauma from previous needles, current shape and saturation level — all of this can only be properly read in person, on live skin, with the right light. Only when the previous pigment has faded almost completely can we confirm the path from a photo alone.
  3. Honest answer. After seeing your brows in person, Sabrina will tell you straight whether we can work over the existing pigment, whether we need to wait, or whether a fading / removal session is needed first — better a sincere "not yet" than a result that won't do justice to your face.

Why we insist on in-person: a virtual call can give general guidance, but it cannot replace what Sabrina's eye and hand read on live skin. It's the only way to protect your time, your money and the final result.
