Covering old permanent makeup: when it's possible (and when it isn't)
Hyperrealistic techniques work on a very fine layer of skin and produce sharp, transparent hairstrokes. They are not designed to cover or hide old pigment — and trying to layer hyperrealistic strokes over a faded microblading or powder brow rarely produces a natural result.
If you have previous permanent makeup from another artist, please send us a clear, well-lit close-up photo of your brows BEFORE booking. We will tell you honestly whether we can work over the existing pigment, whether partial fading is needed, or whether a full removal protocol is the only safe path.
We would rather refuse a booking than give you a result that does not honour our standards. Your trust matters more than a single appointment.
